FOR MEAT ABOLITION : HUMAN MEAT PACKAGE OPERATION IN MARSEILLE! On Thursday 3 October 2013 in Marseille ALARM is organising a new shock performance for the World Week for the Abolition of Meat (WWAM). See the event on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/425741900864497 Meeting point: La Canebière, in front of the former “Air France” agency (near Place Charles de Gaulle/lower Canebière). ALARM (Association for Animal Liberation Marseille Region) was created at the occasion of a human meat package operation on 8 October 2011 which prompted much discussion and reflexion with the public. By acting out the same scenario two years on, and by choosing a weekday to do it, we hope to attract a maximum of media coverage, in order to expose the fate of the 6 MILLION TERRESTRIAL ANIMALS KILLED EACH HOUR to be made into food, as well as the dismal fate of aquatic animals killed in even greater numbers! The World Weeks for the Abolition of Meat (WWAM) are intended as a means of promoting a political debate around the idea of abolishing the production and consumption of sentient beings and other animal products. You as an activist can contribute to the impact of this action: the larger the number of participants the more spectacular it will be and the greater our chance of success. We will have banners and other visual communication tools. We need activists to help!
