WWAM
Cambridge (United Kingdom), 22-09-2012
WWAM began for Animal Rights Cambridge with an information stall and leafleting, a group then moved into a Sainsbury store and displayed posters at the meat shelves and at the deli counter. The staff were friendly except for the manageress who asked us to leave, we then stood outside until moving to a position opposite St Mary's church, attracting the attention of the many people who walk in this area. Our group then moved into the depths of a McDonald's restaurant, the place is low ceilinged and dingy, reminding me of the canteen described in George Orwell's novel "Nineteen Eighty Four", we stood displaying posters and some customers accepted the WWAM leaflets, the manager called the police, we prolonged our stay as long as possible before standing in the entrance, it was here that a passer by praised our initiative.

Volunteers: The demand for the abolition of meat needs you!
T-shirts, bags, pins, stickers and flyers
Because meat production involves killing the animals that are eaten,
because their living conditions and slaughter cause them to suffer,
because eating animal products isn't necessary,
because sentient beings must not be mistreated or killed unnecessarily;
therefore, farming, fishing and hunting, as well as selling and eating animal products, have to be abolished.
