Our day of protest held in one of Grosseto's busiest central streets, Corso Carducci, consisted of several actions: a large photographic exhibition on the fate of animals in the intensive farming industry, the distribution of abolition of meat leaflets, the non stop projection of quality video footage, a speech, and a street performance. In the performance some volunteer activists acted as slaughterhouse operators while others took the part of their non human slaves; thereby enacted the painful process by which the meat industry breeds, holds captive, enslaves and kills its victims.
