30 activists showed what animal slaughtering is like with a performance in the centre of Milan. People could see a "crime scene" with drawings of shapes of animals (fish, chickens, lambs, cows...) and reflect on the fact that the massacre of non human animals for food is the biggest crime committed by humankind. We held placards with slogans about the abolition of farming, hunting and fishing, and distributed thousands of flyers. We showed videos of slaughterhouses and many people stopped to watch them and talk near the table of the organisation "Oltre la Specie" ("Beyond Species").
