The collective "Indignés pour la Libération Animale" has carried out a street action for the World Day for the Abolition of Meat.
About ten participants were equipped with awareness visuals revealing to meat consumers the conditions in which animals intended for human consumption are killed. Our target? Fast food restaurants: Quick, McDonald's, KFC or Hippopotamus. Despite a refusal by the local authorities to grant us the right to carry out our action, we stood in front of the consumers of these restaurants for several minutes, with a soundtrack of the animals' cries in the slaughterhouses. The action had impact: the dialogue started with a few people and a consumer even decided to leave his table to join us.
We want to continue this type of action in the future.
