On Saturday 18 May, as part of of the World Week for the Abolition of Meat, Nea (acronym for “No to the Exploitation of Animals”) organised a "human" meat package action in the port of Vannes. A dozen activists took part. The action went well; as expected passers-by stopped and proffered a potpourri of clichés and remarks that were intended to be offensive. We were even treated to some insults. The activists remained patient and managed to have some deeper discussions about the abolition of meat.

Volunteers: The demand for the abolition of meat needs you!

Because meat production involves killing the animals that are eaten,
because their living conditions and slaughter cause them to suffer,
because eating animal products isn't necessary,
because sentient beings must not be mistreated or killed unnecessarily;
therefore, farming, fishing and hunting, as well as selling and eating animal products, have to be abolished.
