We are promoting, on a volunteer and independent basis, the demand for the abolition of the production and consumption of animal flesh throughout the world; that is to say, the prohibition of products that come from hunting, fishing and farming because they require the exploitation, suffering and death of sentient beings.
Join activists throughout the world for the January 2012 WWAM and hold actions to raise awareness for the abolition of meat!

The debate, "The Animal Question, A Politically Essential Question," led by
Yves Bonnardel at Le Seul Problème (The Only Problem) (46 rue Consolat, 13001), went well and was warmly welcomed. 30 people were present, mostly those who are already interested in the subject. The discussion often turned to the fact that activists -- often unintentionally -- present the animal question to the public as if it were a personal question: as if each person were ultimately free, morally, to decide whether
to exploit and kill or not. The main assertion of the abolition of meat presents the question from a political angle since it addresses all of society in its demand to ban this practice. The discussion was dynamic and interesting and continued late into the evening.
Because meat production involves killing the animals that are eaten,
because their living conditions and slaughter cause them to suffer,
because eating animal products isn't necessary,
because sentient beings must not be mistreated or killed unnecessarily;
therefore, farming, fishing and hunting, as well as selling and eating animal products, have to be abolished.
