We are promoting, on a volunteer and independent basis, the demand for the abolition of the production and consumption of animal flesh throughout the world; that is to say, the prohibition of products that come from hunting, fishing and farming because they require the exploitation, suffering and death of sentient beings.
Join activists throughout the world for the January 2012 WWAM and hold actions to raise awareness for the abolition of meat!

Saint-Nazaire (France), 04-06-2011
Last Saturday, June 4th, at Place de L'Amérique Latine in Saint-Nazaire, nea and Droits Des Animaux (Animal Rights) groups got together to promote the abolition of meat. The area was full of inflatable structures for kids, so it wasn't easy to find a place to set up shop... We put our stalls around the edges of the square at the height of the traffic lights so the people driving through could see the giant "human" meat package while stopped at the red light! The plaza was very quiet and there weren't a lot of people passing through. The few people who passed by us stopped in front the giant "human" tray, and those who were really curious came by the information tables and we talked to them about the abolition of meat. We'll try this again at Saint-Nazaire being sure to pick a busier area. Good place for a follow-up.
Because meat production involves killing the animals that are eaten,
because their living conditions and slaughter cause them to suffer,
because eating animal products isn't necessary,
because sentient beings must not be mistreated or killed unnecessarily;
therefore, farming, fishing and hunting, as well as selling and eating animal products, have to be abolished.
